What Makes Rotary Different?

Rotarians are often asked, "What is the difference between Rotary and other Service Clubs I could join".   As for myself, there are three primary differences that set us apart:

1)   Polio Eradication.  The opportunity to be part of the organization MOST responsible for wiping out the devastating disease of Polio throughout the world.

2)   Pick a Country; Make a Project.  The opportunity to work hand in hand with local friends and foreign Rotarians on your own, personalized, hands-on International Assistance Projects throughout the world.  No other organization allows local clubs the opportunity to select and conduct personalized programs independently throughout the world.

3)   The Four Way Test.    (See the icon at bottom of this page).  Rotarians subscribe to the Four Way Test of all that we think, say, and do.  When you are dealing with Rotarians from throughout the world, you are dealing with a person of the highest integrity and a deep commitment to Service above Self.
