Meet Bella Bua, a delightful and talented six-year-old girl who recently celebrated her birthday. Bella, is a two-time, first-place winner of Lake County’s Little Idols singing competition, showcasing her remarkable vocal abilities. In addition to her singing prowess, Bella holds the title of Little Miss Lake County for the 2023-2024 year. Bella’s performances are nothing short of enchanting, as she captivates audiences with her renditions of songs that span genres from pop to Broadway. Included is a video of her heartwarming performance of “Part of Your World” from Disney’s Little Mermaid.

Magic, Dumb Jokes, and Other Stuff. Chase the Entertainer spent his twenties learning how to make people ask “how the hell did he do that?” As a street performer in San Francisco and has since performed all over the country. He is also the regular magician at Kelseyville’s Bacon Fest.

Nouveau Duo has entertained around Lake County and brings you a versatile mix of vocal harmonies and acoustic excitement and is composed of Jim Williams and Dory Smith.

Jim Williams is the owner of Strings and Things Music Lakeport. Jim is a veteran performer in Lake County and the San Francisco Bay area. He is a multi-instrumentalist  and the front man for The Hip Replacements, a  popular local blues band. Jim, a singer/songwriter has a vast cache of knowledge and experience developed over years as a music major, performer and teacher. Jim inspires Lake county youth with personal lessons at the store and is an amazing encyclopedia of 20th century popular music, who, what, where and when. Not even he is sure how many songs he knows!

Dory Smith began a slow rolling music career between Philadelphia and New York city where he was exposed to a variety of styles from the late 50’s till 1981 when he moved to Lake Tahoe. Participating in every chorus and band and church choir from age 5, Dory was mentored by Classical singers and Big Band leaders and enjoyed the great diversity found in the radio of those two great cities.

The Lower Lake High School Color Guard embodies the spirit of precision and artistry as a dynamic ensemble of talented students. With synchronized movements and vibrant displays, they bring life to the rhythm of music through meticulously choreographed routines. Each performance is a captivating fusion of athleticism and creativity, as they skillfully manipulate flags to complement the melodies and themes of the songs they interpret. With dedication and passion, the Color Guard elevates school events and competitions, showcasing their commitment to excellence and teamwork.

Travis Rinker has been writing and performing as a Solo Instrumental Guitarist for over a decade. Throughout his set, using a thumb pick, he combines percussion, harmonics, and speedy finger-picking originals. A few of his favorite musical achievements have been winning the Rising Stars Music 2016 Acoustic Category & Overall, playing at the Canadian Guitar Festival, and sharing the stage with some of his Guitar inspirations Alex de Grassi and Rick Hunolt of Exodus. .

With a repertoire spanning diverse genres and styles, their performances are a captivating journey through the dynamic world of percussion. From explosive cadences to intricate rhythms, each song comes alive under the skilled hands of these talented musicians.  The Lower Lake High School Drumline is not just a performance; it’s an immersive auditory experience that leaves a lasting impression on all who witness their electrifying performances.

Irma Lopez is a local singer who has dedicated 35 years to singing Spanish-language music for cultural and family events in Lake County and the surrounding areas. Irma enjoys connecting with people in her community and sharing her love of music with audiences throughout Northern California. Irma is known to have performed at local events including the Lake County Fair, Cinco de Mayo, Kelseyville’s Dia de la Independencia de Mexico, Octoberfest, and the Lake County Pear Festival, among others.

Irma López es una cantante local que ha dedicado 35 años a interpretar música en español en eventos culturales, educativos y familiares en todo el condado de Lake y sus alrededores. Encuentra su pasión al compartir la música con toda la gente que disfruta de sus interpretaciones. Irma ha mostrado sus talentos en varios eventos locales, incluyendo la Feria del Condado de Lake, celebraciones del Cinco de Mayo, Noche de Estrellas en la Escuela de Artes Escénicas y Educación Cultural (Space) en Ukiah, las festividades del Día de la Independencia de México en Kelseyville, Oktoberfest en Lakeport y la Feria de las Peras del Condado de Lake.

Dennis Purcell embodies the essence of folk music, weaving stories and melodies into a rich tapestry of sound that resonates with the soul. Armed with his trusted guitar and harmonica, he takes the stage with a humble yet commanding presence, inviting listeners on a journey through the heartland of American music.  Dennis Purcell is more than a folk singer; he is a storyteller, a troubadour whose melodies linger long after the final chord fades away.

Gabriella Soria, or Gabby as she’s fondly known, is a proud native of Lake County. From her earliest days, Gabby’s voice has been her instrument, gracing stages at school talent shows and the renowned Lake County Idol competition at the annual fair. Her passion for performance extended beyond music, as she seamlessly transitioned into the theatrical realm, captivating audiences with her talent in various productions with the Lake County Theater Company. Alongside her artistic endeavors, Gabby’s roots in her community run deep, having spent her middle and high school years as an active member of 4H, where she showcased her dedication and skill in raising market goats for the county fair. Recently, Gabby graduated from cosmetology school, channeling her love for making people feel beautiful into a blossoming career as a hairstylist, where she believes in the transformative power of both beauty and music to uplift spirits and evoke emotions. With an unwavering love for her hometown, Gabby eagerly anticipates the future and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to showcase her talents in this year’s Lake County Talent Showcase Competition.
