What’s involved?

Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding.  Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.

Rotary Club of Lakeport’s Interact Club

Clear Lake High School’s Interact Club, under the dedicated guidance of their advisor, Mrs. Jenni Ingram, stands as a shining example of youth engagement and community service. This student-led organization is closely affiliated with the Rotary Club of Lakeport, with Faith Hornby serving as its Director. The Interact Club at Clear Lake High School embodies the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” by actively participating in various community service projects, fundraisers, and initiatives that aim to make a positive impact on their local community. Through their collaborative efforts, they not only develop leadership skills but also cultivate a sense of social responsibility among their members, fostering a spirit of goodwill and civic duty that will undoubtedly leave a lasting legacy in Lakeport and beyond.
